Rockin’ All Night with Aishite Night

Some time around Christmas, while I was browsing TV Tropes, I remember stumbling upon Aishite Night (愛してナイト and it’s sometimes romanised as Aishite Knight, but I can write an entire essay as to why I don’t think it should be).

I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve never heard of it but, if you happened to grow up in continental Europe during the late 80s and early 90s, you may have heard of it under a name like “Rock’n Roll Kids“, “Lucile, Amour et Rock’n Roll” and “Kiss Me Licia“, among many others. Day 22: Favourite Anime Soundtrack

See my full 30 Day Anime Challenge here.

Now this is a hard question. I have nearly two days worth of anime soundtrack and you expect me to choose?

I’ll have to go with the Zankyou no Terror OST. The music creates an ambience that fits beautifully, always creating the perfect atmosphere for the scene. The motorbike scene in episode 4 is a perfect example.

It has to be the Ouran High School Host Club ending (Shissou by LAST ALLAIANCE). Every time I hear that guitar riff intro it just brings back the feels in the penultimate scene and hits me just as hard as the first time I watched it all over again. WHY DID IT HAVE TO END???

Day 20: Favourite Anime Opening

The opening for Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace gives me that tingly feeling every time I hear it. I already loved amazarshi from hearing the Tokyo Ghoul √A ending, but スピードと摩擦 (Speed to Masaatsu / Speed and Friction) is probably the only opening I’ve ever replayed before continuing with watching the episode.
